How's the next raid boss going to die?

Do you think they will fall, or will something fall on them?

After all, it’s not like Blizzard could determine which character dealt the killing blow and with what ability and generate a video of that on the fly using the in-game engine, right?

I’m sure they could generate an in-game cinematic based on combat logs, but that doesn’t allow them to tell a consistent story.

Jimmy the Warlock who got the finishing blow with a misclicked stray Shadow Bolt only exists in one raid group. So, when the story is documented later it just gets written in as “killed by the Champions of Azeroth.”

Having a unique cutscene with major characters doing something cool is much more satisfying, in my opinion.

Possible Thrall and Anduin kill the boss. :8ball::robot:

…although, maybe Thrall and Anduin need to exercise a corrupted character concerning the warwithin cinematic. :robot::thought_balloon:

Dysentery…Cousin Slowhands did warn us…

They will be holding a dagger, Khadgar will go to Three Stooge poke them in the eye, and in Three Stooge defensive means the boss will block it. But the force fo Khadgar’s poke arm will push the dagger into their head killing the boss.

It’s going to be like the N’Zoth death seen, but a different void monstrosity.

They should explode and rain like confetti afterwards.

xal will shadow the hedgehog teleport behind them and mutter something, something, no one betrays me.

All our characters should sit on it like a couch and take a group photo]

With player housing in the oven I hope some of the raid bosses become furniture

Without an autopsy with a cause of death how would you know who actually killed the Boss? I realize that mathematically it is who ever’s shot was the one that took them to zero but that’s due to a limitation of the way computers work, not the way battles work.

After adventuring through the distant underground Drogbar city of Fistalon, fabled home of masked wrestlers ruled by Mysteero the Undefeated from his Grand Colosseum standing at the pinnacle of the Warspire Arena, a great pillar of hewn stone housing countless arenas where all-comers are welcome to test their might, and learning that the Warspire’s latest rising champion, Gorethrash the Hellgrinder, may be a puppet of Xal’atath, we take it upon ourselves to enter into the Warspire and fight our way to him, to end his schemes to master Fistalon.

Along our way through the Warspire we’re aided by a dynamic duo of mysterious and shirtless wrestlers, the same beside whom we adventured through Fistalon from the start. In a stunning turn of events, as Gorethrash is about to finish off the band of bold heroes, the duo leap gracefully into the arena and tag-team him into submission. During the clash, however, the duo are unmasked, disqualifying their ascent but maintaining their victory over the broken Gorethrash, and revealing them to have been Anduin and Thrall.

Mythic has a secret phase that continues until you’ve effectively killed Gorethrash, and while the cutscene plays out the same you are permitted to ascend one further level up the Warspire to face the challenger Gorethrash would have.
It is a dwarf once lost, but whom found himself in the violence of combat, the legendary Puncher of Deathwing himself, Hero of the Badlands turned Guised Grappler, Theldurin the Fist.
