How's the affl/demo in pve now?

Not really into playing destro, even if its the strongest.
Affl and Demo are both fun imo but how are they weighing in m+ and in raids?

Mythic + (assuming it’s a relevant key, low keys any spec you want) demo only. Raiding, aff and demo are both doing well.

Shadow Priest.

Demo is a powerful m+ spec even without a much-needed interrupt. It’s average in raid.

Affliction is very good against most raid bosses but is easily the worst m+ spec right now.

In short, play Demo in M+ and Aff in raid.

Shadows generally less wanted in raid now since the small nerf. But if you want to even think about doing high end M+ then yeah.

Yea the 2% nerf made Shadow less desirable then locks… rolls eyes.

2-4%. Lock wasn’t much behind Spriest outside of Crucible anyway, they were always extremely close in BoD.

They are still ahead of them just aff is closer now but still doesnt make them less desirable than locks

Untrue. look at BoD 95th percentile, M uu’nat, and Jaina. All the content that matters in raid Lock is ahead.

2% nerf that gets larger the more targets there are. And the super strong part of Spriest wasn’t it’s patchwork damage.

not to mention lock is inherently freakishly tanky, which on uunat is really helpful for p3 and during void stone usage

The ability to avoid beam ticks and the fact that Inevitable Demise exists makes Aff the #1 pick for Uu’nat alone.

Not sure why everyone is dumping on affliction because I’ve been topping the meters as it lately because I’ve been sick of all the destro FOTM rollers popping up. I run x3 wracking brilliance x2 sudden onset and x1 inveitable demise make sure you use haunt and writhe of agony.

What are you even talking about.

Sorry mate speak for yourself

affliction suck no matter what azerite traits you use in M+ or pvp, you can only be efective with it in raids, blizzard make sure of that destroying all the advantages of the spec, 8.2 doesnt seem to change any of that even when blizzard stated that they would like to see more specs in the MDIs, by contrary the new essence system its only making things worse for some specs like affliction and making some other specs even more broken.

First of all, citation needed.

Second of all, who cares what is used in the MDI.

More like you suck with it
