Kind of a weird question i’m sure, but shadow was in an awkward spot back in Phase 1, and i never really got far enough into phase 2-3 to really pull back into SoD
Phase 5 and the fact we’re 60 at this point (and have been for a bit, tbf) does intrigue me, but i’m wondering, what goodies has shadow gotten since phase 2? anything notable? is it feeling okay?
Their DPS is average. Their group heal is out of the world. Put a shadow in each group and any content is trivial.
Well you prob want at least one for the group heal and shadow damage buff. With talents and ring rune you shouldn’t need any hit. So you can focus on spelldamage and crit. Not sure how much they are but not having to worry of hit can prob be relaxing.
Shadow Priests single target damage is average. Their AoE however is on another level. They are easily top DPS on multi target fights where they are grouped up. Damage drops off sharply when they have to run a curse or when they change targets alot due to the the ramp up time for their spell rotation. They do bring a good amount of utility to raids. They provide health and mana back to the party they are placed in. The health returned from VE was nerfed by 50% going into P5 tho.
