Howling Fjord vs Borean Tundra

Both me and my wife are newer to classic and honestly WoW in general, although I have limited experience playing back in Cata. My question to y’all would be… Howling Fjord or Borean Tundra for our first steps into Northrend? Those of you who played back during the original release… which zone gives you more nostalgia?

I prefer Howling Fjord. It’s a better story and the layout is more interesting.

I always went Borean Tundra, because I thought Borean was for Alliance and Howling Fjord was for Horde. I was wrong, but that’s just the path I take now. Howling Fjord is prettier.

There really isnt a wrong option though.

Fjord hands down

Howling Fjord because it looks nicer

It was kinda set up that way. Horde has the more significant “town” in Borean and alliance has their in HF. Both actually have the save number of quests though. I prefer HF personally, I think the work that went into that zone trumps everything else in WotLK.
