6 min games 30kish hph for horde and 40kish hph for alliance.
I assume the alliance try hards are going to eventually ruin it for everyone but for now VIVA AV WEEKEND
Imagine not enjoying playing the game and treating the game based on production on an hourly basis.

i havent had a 6 minute AV since december. what are you going on about?
I foresee Alliance getting greedy later on and use Sapper squads to nuke the horde Rush causing turtles
I would like to know what the alliance chatter is like. are you planning to maximize by taking mines, killing galv, or are people trying to ruin it?
like before when you had people roaming around in kill squads they were maybe getting 20k/hour.
is the vibe positive or are you upset?
I believe most think Horde is doing all the work while Alliance just has to gather up LTs for 4k honor

One game doesn’t end in <8 minutes and the forums get flooded with threads crying about “LITERALLY EVERY AV IS A TURTLE” from very smart ditch-diggers.

You should do av now then, every game is 6-7m
If horde don’t win we win in 7-8m instead once lt’s are dead
The AV weekend meta is a delicate balance and it doesn’t take much to disrupt it by either faction. It’s not just Alliance who can bog it down by playing defense. Horde often like to D up on Galv to wipe Alliance and force a turtle.
My advice to you would be to have a backup plan. You can still turn those games into a sub-20 minute win for your faction if you play smart and advocate for strategies that will position your team for a win.
Enjoy those fast games while you can, but if you can rally a 20 minute scorched earth win for your team (on either faction), good on you. Just be adaptable and stay positive.

did this just happen over night? last night games were on average 20 min, probably had a cople in the 15 min range

over 100k honor already this morning
oh nice. it must be the av weekend changing the meta right now. i need 198k honor for the first break point. maybe i can get the full 500k cap over the whole weekend
It depends I guess. I don’t actually mind if people wanna play an actual game. I had many awesome games both on my R14 journey and after where I broke through a Horde turtle attempt and we won out. I realize that doesn’t get you to R14 as quickly but it is a game after all.
The ones I can’t get behind though are when…
- Alliance full D at Van but then don’t have a follow up plan, so our whole team gets bottled up behind IWB. The only outcome here is a loss (unless Horde is really bad) but it’s going to take an hour.
- Horde players intentionally troll their own team to wipe them on Van, resulting in either the scenario above or in Horde just losing with no honour.
Outside of stuff like that though, as long as both teams are making a sincere effort to win, it’s cool by me no matter which way a game goes. As it is though, on AV weekends I try to read what’s going on. If Horde are fast-winning and not failing at it, I’ll make a mini-game out of seeing how much honour I can get for my team by flipping towers or killing more LTs (I don’t need the honour). If Horde are trolling or failing at the fast-win though, I’m gonna rally and punish you as best I can.
