How WoW characters would look in Final Fantasy

I’ve been playing around with graphics AI software and making images of some of the more iconic WoW characters in a FF style, just for fun. I’ve not put them here as I dont want to spam, 'cause I know you guys don’t like da spam.

They are on the RP forum.

But if you want to take a look at them and see if they work, I’d love your constructive input. :paintbrush: :art:

They look very… effeminate. Not surprising since it’s Japan.

Well, probably taller, more anime style but elves with long hair that often is outrageously huge with bigger eyes and the most extravagant clothing from the 17th century you could ever find.

Orcs would have more muscles.

Varian and Wrathion, those work. They look like themselves but in a different style. But that Anduin is not Anduin.

And yes I do think anime Varian would wear earrings.

You just turn every class into a Glitter Wizard with the color of the glitter matching the theme of the class. Then you make swords go beep instead of clanging. Done.

Edit: I thought this was specifically about FF14 not FF in general.

Worse imo. I can’t get into FF14 because of the graphics. I enjoy wow’s style and I’d like it to not look like FF14. I’d probably quit if wow changed to look like FF14.

Interesting idea. Though I feel like if you wanted to reduce spam, you could have just made a single thread and posted the images that way.

I like Wrathion and Varian. Anduin works as he is pre-Shadowlands. Post-Shadowlands, he probably would look more like Varian, just with shorter hair and blonde.

I honestly think they would look way better. Especially male toons. My only male characters are beast types (wolf, bovine and goat). :see_no_evil::hear_no_evil::speak_no_evil:

For my honest thoughts on the ones I’ve seen:

  • Wrathion - Fits the sauve look the character goes for.

  • Varian - You have a Hien clone… and I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.

  • Anduin - That’s not “FF art style”, that’s a Blood Elf with short ears.
