How would you React?

If you are new to the game… be ready for some harsh criticism while playing cwow.

This will happen to you 100% in Classic wow if u pug… unless you are really good.

How would/will you react when the instance/raid party you are in call you a baddy and then kick you out? (make sure u don’t quit over events like this)

-are you going to report them?
-ignore/blacklist them?
what will you do?

Uhhh this isn’t retail my dude.

Every single group I have had where people are bad people are way more than willing to help you out.

The only time I can see this being the case is maybe in like raids if you keep on wiping them by doing something dumb in which case you should have a grasp on the game by then.

Of course ppl help… but you can run into jerks sometimes… it’s apart of the game.

I think anyone calling someone else a baddie and trying to kick someone are the ones that are going to be blacklisted. They will at least by me.

Yes, there will be some people like this honestly. But most of the time these people just get replaced lol at least in my groups.

I will try to see what I did wrong and possibly try to improve. Even ask if I don’t know. I like to become better at anything I am doing. I see failure as one step closer to success.

I will not blacklist anyone for what they say only what they do. As in a ninja.

I’m saying… the jerks are leading the party and kick u out.

Given the selection criteria currently being used by all indications. I think this likely has more to do with the average age of a beta tester being in their 30’s or higher. They’re also all on Nostalgia highs and the honeymoon period is in full effect.

We’ll see how things stand in a few more weeks. Or even simply during the Stress Tests.

I would leave? And I would suggest anyone who is in this situation to leave.

I mean the stress test won’t show anything tbh. I’m just saying the way this game is played, it will actually put you behind if you are a jerk. The game requires cooperation and if you are being a jerk your group is going to fall apart and most of your groups will fall apart. Not to mention you will struggle finding groups in the first place.

How r u supposed to know that you should leave?

In the scenario you are talking about, if you happen to be new, and for some reason the leader is calling you a baddie for doing something wrong, I would just leave.

an interesting observation i have to share: i never encountered a player who was deliberately trying to wipe the group till a random LFD. i remember it well. it was razorfen downs. a rogue had joined and when we got to the last spiral up to ammenar the coldbringer, the rogue stealthed and disappeared, then reappeared near us as we worked our way up the spiral, only to disband when the entire spiral of mobs descended on us. it was at that point i realized that this lfd tool was going to ruin the game.

yee, cuz u know him n his friends are on discord talking trash bout u.

I don’t know what to tell you my dude honestly. This behavior is honestly not the norm in this type of game like it is in retail. Sure it will happen, but these people are going to be made aware of very quickly with attitudes like this. People straight up do not get invited to guilds if they act like this and if you find out a guild does happen people in there like this you just sort of avoid them.

You will be aware of people like this as the game progresses.

In a world where you need to walk back to a major city to recruit a new party member after booting someone, you’re a complete moron if you decide to remove a party member due to some small mistakes. (Or even a major one or two)

In old style WoW you’re encouraged to work things out with your group. Someone would have to almost be purposely sabotaging the effort for me to just casually boot them out.

I’m going to react the same way I did in vanilla… I’m just gonna laugh and move on.

Yeah, I’m totally gonna kick somebody 45 minutes into BRD (after finding the guy, running out to BRD, getting buffed and supplied) because he aggrod a pack. (just so I can go back and do it all over again)

The “running out to BRD” portion is much more significant than you might imagine. I’m playing a PvP server. It’s like half the effort on its own, depending on the company.

Classic banks a lot more on personal reputation; there’s no cross-realm wizardry to let people be jerks and rinse-repeat with no complications.

You’ll probably find folks in classic to just be a lot nicer overall, because what you do sticks with you. Problem people get filtered out pretty quick.

Initially I think we will see Dbag behavior due to kiddie tourists. But when the kids see how much “harder” classic is compared to retail they will leave.

I am still friends IRL with people I met in WoW 15 years ago due to the bonds we formed. I’m talking about friends in which we all meet up IRL now from time to time for get togethers, weddings, and sadly two funerals.

People underestimate the necessity of guilds, grouping, and friendships in classic. And this is good. I don’t want to play with any sociopaths from the entitlement generation. :sunglasses:
