I’d honestly be grateful for the challenge (and thankful that I’d be able to play normally before raiding AQ and presumably Naxx instead of buff logging my main).
Yeah I know there’s another thread asking Blizz to do this, but I’m more wondering what the reactions would be. Would you guys be upset or happy with that kind of change?
I’d be fine with that, but I don’t have a strong opinion either way.
However, I will note that in previous threads requesting this change, numerous posters have stated that the reason they wanted the change was because their guild imposes requirements on them they don’t like. That’s kind of selfish imo, if they think their guild is too serious, they should find a more casual guild, they shouldn’t advocate for taking away the option of world buffs from others.
I feel the perfect solution has all ready been reached. Warcraftlogs will have it’s own category to compete without world buffs. This gives the option to feel competition without removing the option from other players.

As long as they told me BEFORE I got them.
I’d love that. If we’re going to have a bunch of changes to the game, we may as well at least get a good one.
For many of us, they’ll be dropping off soon enough in AQ. 
World Buffs will be for those guilds that have practised well enough to speed run through it without wiping.
Don’t take our fun away. Curb your expectations and play how you want to.
I see guilds acquiring buffs before BWL when they wipe on Vael each week. In my opinion, that’s wasted time. Use your time to better your performance in other ways.
I’d be mildly annoyed since it’d be less efficient and I wouldn’t have as much time to pursue other goals I have right now with my already limited playtime (putting in 60 hour weeks being a front line healthcare worker).

If you’re keeping your world buffs all the way through AQ, then it wasn’t much of a challenge to begin with.
I think it would fix Classic’s biggest flaw and make it a better game, a more challenging game.
But I know they won’t do it and why (#nochanges), and I’ve accepted that. We’ll just have to wait until TBC for it to be fixed.
this is how private servers did it…you couldnt take buffs into a raid until several weeks after it was launched.
With the introduction of AQ, it matters not. Only those who have practised off realm ahead of time will be keeping their buffs before long.

It doesnt appear you’re in a really serious guild so why would it matter to you?
It really wouldn’t. The mechanics are silly simple and the dps requirements are a joke.
When a first time rag kill has the dps to beat Patchwerk pre-hard enrage without world buffs you know the game is simple.

folks who complain about world buffs need to just join more casual guilds and not try to compete with people you WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO COMPETE WITH
have fun within the game, enjoy the connections you make and stop letting other’s fun dictate what allow you to enjoy yourself
