and if they added a few new appearances obtainable from doing the main questlines.
Id feel neutral or happy cause they were pretty cool

I’d have to play MM to use the one I currently do, but I would love it anyway. I didn’t play much in legion so I didn’t get the MT appearances so would be cool to earn more mogs.
I’m sure there are other artifacts they could use, but the most lore heavy ones have been used already. I can’t see them handling a second wave of artifact weapons well. Probably best for everyone if it remains a one-off thing.
oh I mean they reuse the ones from legion

depends. Do I need to grind artifact power again on each one if I multi-spec? If the answer is a yes then it’s a no for me

I can imagine them bringing it back with as much of a grind as it was before, but with all the abilities nerfed so much as to feel pointless.
I preferred artifact weapons to the Heart of Azeroth, soulbinds, or whatever lame abilities we have this expansion, so sure, bring it on.

As more new cosmetic options to unlock? I’d be about it.
As actual weapons? Nah, I didn’t like how we didn’t use new weapons for an entire expansion, because we were stuck with what we had.

At this stage, i really don’t care, I’m honestly to the point where i just do my mount/pet collecting along with some casual weekend raiding and that’s it. Everything else that happens in the expansion is just a blur of crap that i ignore.
I don’t think i’ll ever invest myself properly in any WoW system ever again, well at least until they add payer housing, i’ll be all over that

I wouldn’t mind. It was great system. I felt something do to do every time I logged on. Although I felt relieved that I didn’t need to go through the same length of the process on every alt spec. So, a good catchup mechanism is needed.
The only capacity I want them back is pretimed release upgrades for doing like 1-3 story quests gated thru the expansion till the end when its last patch max upgraded.
From then alts have quest skip to current so long as ur main has completed it. No BS farming materials or/power/azerite.
Skins do what they did before pve an pvp skins separate or not idc.
Then finally dont make them mandatory an still add weapons in game that can scale OR just make really amazing visual attack/use effects(which I know they wont pipe dream).
I hated that we got these ‘legendary weapons of history’, the most famous weapons in the world, and then once Legion was over… that was it. We never see them again (except for alts). It makes the RPer in me sad that we got these super important, cool items just to lose them so quickly (not to mention losing the passives & abilities each one gave us).

I’d love it as long as they don’t lock a certain weapon to a certain spec, but have all usable weapons per spec open to all looks, not just one per spec.
The only Hunter spec I play is BM. I only mog a Bow. During Legion I could only get gun skins which I have zero interest in, so I never bothered with the Mage Tower since they swore the weapons would always be spec-locked. Yet, fast forward to today… and I’m able to use any Legion Legendary bow and crossbow as well.
The Artifact Weapons were the one thing that felt like progression because scaling was a mess (and still is.)
I’d love to be able to farm AP to get that feeling of progression back!
No more borrowed power gameplay systems.
Weapon choices are important to me. Artifacts removed those choices and forced me into weapon types I wanted nothing to do with.
I am still upset that the frost DK artifact was toothpicks instead of a reforged 2h Frostmourne. I hated that my spriest couldn’t use a staff (artifact dagger) and that my ww monk couldn’t use a 2h. I wish I could delete the frost DK artifact toothpicks.

Artefact weapons were a lot of fun.
Trying to bring them back though? I dunno. Feels a bit redundant after everything.
I’d be pretty sad… i want them back this expac! (for the last patch)
