How would you feel about just having a Barber-shop added? Would that be realistic to add?

I tend to put in a crazy amount of time and effort into my characters before fully “committing” to an appearance, often deleting and re-creating characters until I’ve gotten them juuuuuuust right.

I catch myself doing the same thing again for a new character, but I honestly feel like it would be great just being able to customize your appearance indefinitely, even at a fairly steep gold price.

I get that Classic should remain “classic”, but with SoD being much more experimental, I don’t see any harm in opening these options up (provided this version of the game can support it, without a super high investment of time to add).

Well, they would need to move it for Stormwind, at least. Since it’s currently an Inn (???); there’s a bunch of chairs and tables on the ground floor, so it doesn’t strike me as a ‘home’.

Seeing what they did with the New Avalon Inn’s door. I wonder if they could do the same for one of the other ‘doored up’ buildings. Though…those might not have insides.

Overall, it really depends on if the game’s code allows for ‘on the fly’ character appearance changes. If you recall the original services required you to logout. But you were still able to be ‘in the game’ (Character Selection). Then with Wrath, you could remain ingame (World) while changing your appearance.

((Yes, I know this is the Retail client. But it’s likely running in a compatibility mode to make some of the vanilla hold-over work. They still haven’t had time to remove the tech debt incurred getting Classic launched.))

Yes, barbershop. I’m fine with it.
