I was just sitting and thinking, what if there was a talent that gave us 3/4 more Holy Power.
A big issue with the class is how we manage to overcap on Holy Power more so than not.
Additional Holy Power would allow us to store more and output more DPS/Heals
Imagine being about to WoG/Denounce or WoG Templar Verdict
Just a thought, what do you guys think?

Like a rogue where we could use finishers at 3 or more HP (maybe up to 5) like rogue can use finishers with between 1 and 7 combo point depending on talents?
Interesting idea for sure.
As was mentioned, the 3 holy power spenders are not doing enough as they are, just removing some nerfs would make the spec far more effective. Storing more HP to modify finisher damage is a solution, if the damage number increases were effective. In PVP a Ret can execute a perfect rotation into someone and maybe eventually see enemy healthbar movement, but it has no sticking power without MS and the enemy or their teammate can heal them right back up.
I’ve been saying for a while that Holy Power should be broken down into “fragments” like Soul Shards for Destro Locks. That would give Blizzard the ability to fine tune HoPo generation, something they have greatly struggled with since forever.
CSAA for example could generate half a Holy Power, rather than 1 full Holy Power every other hit.
But, giving us 10 Holy Power or whatever would have a similar result. Although Holy Power generation would have to be rethought. Spenders would have to cost more Holy Power and generators would probably have to generate 2-4 Holy Power rather than 1. But CSAA could still give you 1.
