Silvermoon is being sieged by the Void, then a portal opens from the sky and she comes flying down and screams “For the Dailies!!!” and then becomes the WQ hub quest giver for the next 6 months

After watching Light and Shadow I am sure the current writers DO understand who Sylvanas is meant to be.
She will rip her way out of Thralls belly and sing " Hello my baby hello my honey hello my ragtime gal"

Even if they understand her, the damage SL did to her is going to require some top of the line writing. If the current writers bring her back, it’s only going to do more harm.

Somehow Sylvanas returned.
I’m assuming, and hopeful, that she’ll return to unify the Horde after some sort of turmoil that challenges the Hordes leadership or loyalties.
What I don’t want is for Sylvanas to be sacrificed to save other characters or the Horde/Alliance. Blizzard has a history of throwing away some characters in a dud-fireworks moment.
People won’t be happy that she returned. They won’t be happy if she stays. People aren’t happy that she’s gone… Blizzard doesn’t win from this, even if they fix a mistake they might have made with her character.
I honestly don’t know how she returns and half the playerbase isn’t upset about it. Blizzard writers/devs went out of their way to build her up as the enemy of the Alliance. Alliance players probably haven’t forgotten or forgiven… so, what do they get out of this exchange?

It’s not just the alliance that’s done with her; I wanted to beat her like a piñata during Sanctum so that we could put her in the ground and close the book on the character because by that point I was done with Sylvanas.
