How will new players get flying in levels 10-50

Leveling 10-50 in an expansion without flying is going to be much slower for new players vs veterans. God forgive if a new player at level 10 is sent to BfA and has to grind pathfinder.

Maybe there should by a questline at level 10 to unlock flying in all past expansions.

That’s likely how it will work. I don’t see them ever taking past pathfinders out, not when they can make us waste time grinding them in the future.

I’m going to assume they will just unlock flight on all expansions after you hit the new equivalent to BfA lvl 60.

Otherwise everybody who doesn’t have Pathfinder will feel obligated to level up in Pandaria, the most modern non-pathfindered WoW experience.

I think you are assuming new players want the mindless ez snoozefest experience that the pro flying crowd wants

We don’t know. They haven’t decided yet.

Flying doesn’t make things easier. You can’t fly your quest mobs to death.

It just makes the boring aspects of walking from point A to point B faster and more straightforward. Non-flight areas are the real snoozefest because walking isn’t hard, it’s just slow and boring.

Hopefully there will be loosening or removal of some of those limitations. Especially expansions like Wrath and Cata where flight was intentionally part of the leveling process, they need some consideration.

ironic eh?
They make leveling faster to get us into CURRENT content quicker…but some sadistic part deep down inside just cant let go of having Pathfinder in OUTDATED content just to defeat the purpose of having leveling be quicker in the first place.

I swear the day I started playing this game was the day I checked into a mental institution trying to figure these devs and Ion out.

If you can fly over any danger, mob, player, or terrain that indeed makes the game a snoozefest ez experience

You’re just weird bro

Except I can’t get any levels if I don’t actually go there and fight the mobs.

Well, I can. I can park my character on the opposite faction Garrison spot and farm pet battles with war mode on. With or without flight.

But if I want to quest, I gotta kill quest mobs.

And the ability to fly from one quest mob to the other makes the whole experience faster and more dynamic.

But not easier, because I still have to kill those mobs.

Is the terrain killing you that much? lol

If you don’t kill every mob riding from point A to point B then you’re nothing but a hypocrite.

You mean like out rogue and druid can stealth around every single threat in the game?
I mained a rogue as my first character. Ive got half a dozen druids. That is snoozers, yet no one is crying about stealth for the very reason theyre crying about flight.

Its time to remove pathfinder from wod, legion and bfa.
Just use the old flying trainer from lvl 10 and its done.

I posted this question about new players because honestly if WoW can not attract new players, WoW is going to die a long slow death.

Is it just me…or does anyone else ever get the feeling that Ion and crew are literally TRYING to kill this game?

You forgot that new players will have to level up in BFA, and so without flying.
After that they will be able to unlock pathfinders on their main to unlock it on their alts if they want. But right now, Legion and WoD if not nerfed will probably be the best choice so I wouldn’t see everyone going to mop.
