Maybe a dumb question but I haven’t been to an expansion launch in a while - it’s not on a Tuesday and there’s no maintenance message for it, so will it unlock live? Or will the server be down until 3pm PST?
At 3pm PST relog and you will get a banner pop up. Its usually seamless, except early access lagged, crashed, server down… but its unlikely they will allow that to happen twice. Long pause.
What happened with early access is at the launch time the quest for the new expansion pops up. The servers also immediately crashed, but I was back in playing in about ten minutes. I would expect about the same to happen tomorrow, but maybe with more crashes.
Gotcha, thanks. I’m in early access so I was confused how it was going to work lol. It’s been kinda empty at least on my server, so not too many issues with lag….yet 
I didnt even have to relog in early access. The quest just popped up
But yeah, there was some lag at that exact time

I remember I had to for BFA to shadowlands, I wish I didn’t. I mean the whole of shadowlands not just getting the quest pop up.
Actually it will be on Tuesday. It just won’t be Tuesday everywhere. I understand that they want to launch it at the same moment in all locations so different time zones will be seeing the launch at different times of day.
