How we REALLY got our TBC honor (with sources)

My apologies… I don’t know what you’re talking about then.

Never post here. Late TBC honor values are not consistent with original pre-patch honor values. Change is required. Expedience is required. This will impact my future subscription decisions. Bump.

Uhhh, I would. But allow me to give you a reason why I won’t. Honor farming. Thanks Blizz, you’re literally costing me more money that isn’t going into your pocket, I have to order a f’ing pizza just to continue honor grinding in this BS time frame in order to get some semi decent gear for your rushed pre-patch.

Please fix this blizzard the current nerf cannot be how it was. Hks and wins are giving hardly anything.

Blizzard. Straight up, are you dumb? How many of you guys play the game? How about you guys go boost a character then come back and tell us your experience. Would love to hear it.

Kaivax can you address this please

Kaivax?

Kaivax?

Can we trick him by renaming this nameplate distance maybe he will come read it then.

That moment when the female human battle master says, “Need help?” And I yell out. “Yes, I need MORE HONOR GAINS PLEASE.”

Still no blue posts… that’s concerning. Also nice dig OP

It’s absolutely insane isn’t it. Yet we just keep throwing our money at them. We’re like battered wives.

Blizzard please fix honor based on this post

I played through vanilla, vanilla tbc pre-patch, tbc. Was very much looking forward to TBC, arena, etc. While I have the 60 pvp gear(from ranking long before this rediculous change) that I wanted. I recognize that anyone new to classic or joining to play tbc will not have the opportunity to pick up the 60 pvp gear… gear that is really not worth the current grind following the honor reduction. I remember it being a little bit easier in vanilla.

Not sure if the time investment to get prepared for arena is worth it if honor system is like this. Pvp is really the only reason I play this game, and I have no interest in grinding harder than I did in the past to do it again. Hope blizzard considers changing it.

Why not just give us the original prepatch values then change it on launch?

Idk what to even say to this. Like not as in a “you’re wrong” sort of way. Just out of disbelief that they didn’t end up doing it that way. Like, ok. Let me take you into the mind of Blizzard Entertainment’s board room. Ready for this? Employee 1: “Guys, pre-patch is releasing soon, have we figured out how we plan on doing the honor system yet and how much our players should gain?” Employee 2: “We thought it made the most sense to just release the pre-patch with the original honor intervals from the release back in late 2006.” Employee 3: “Whoa whoa, that makes no sense, sure this might be pre-patch, but let’s just use the system that we implemented at the later half of the expansion that completely nullified virtually all honored gained.” All the employees: “Brilliant!” Distant voice in the background. “Give this man a raise!”

Bumps all around

The way honor is now needs to be fixed. It is way too slow. At this rate it will take us 2 weeks to farm enough honor for 1 of the 2 weapons some of us need. Let alone the gear. What is the point of releasing level 60 HWL gear and weapons if won’t have enough time to farm even half of it for TBC leveling…?

Once in a lifetime moment, to relive the glory days of the TBC pre-patch. Where ANYONE who wanted the HWL/GM gear basically got it and duked it out. Ruined. It’s so insane, I wouldn’t have guessed it in my wildest dreams.

I posted this on the other thread as well, incase some of y’all have both open.
