I wanna be hopeful, but I’m kinda irritated with how much HP they keep adding to the Prepatch right now, every day, adding more HP, was tolerating the increase yesterday but today nah. I don’t even see people doing the event and I can’t solo with how much HP everything has as a low lv alt.

I can say the world and questing experience is top tier.
Some of the best the games seen.
The longevity of the expansion i cannot speak to.
And thats the important part.

I feel myself not wanting to say this for fear of jynxing it or something of that nature but honestly I’m really excited for the expansion. I haven’t actually been excited for an expansion since… probably since cata released. Not too sure on that.
It’s like, for once, there’s not anything cringe about the expansion, and no big glaring red flags. The Earthen were a little bit of a scare, lol, but I’ve actually come to like them quite a bit.

based on the pre-patch they will not be able to get out of their own way and are continuing the long standing path of ‘we know better’.
Which means playing at launch isn’t incentivized, but returning later once they’ve lost subs and finally made the needed changes, so…like every expac from BFA onwards.

No idea given it is not out yet. Everyone I have seen says delves are interesting, so they might be better than island expeditions/torghast/a pile of failed content ideas.
In general things feel rushed. I have a feeling they will improve, but start rough like the prepatch. I could be wrong.

I’d love to tell you… but its not out yet. With the amount of Beta’s I’ve played across many games, I wouldn’t even take a guess based on its Beta condition.
prior to yesterday, I had used the events to top off alts to 70, and yesterday even I started a new alt to level through the pre-patch based on that experience.
I’ve already given up since the HP change as it’s non-viable now.

Thrall and Anduin have been crying for plenty of Manboss expansions already lol.
Legion’s Pre-Patch was freaking fantastic.
War Within feels like something slapped together last minute.
I don’t like this omen. Though, I think SL’s Pre-Patch was also a blast too, so this could be nothing.

I’m excited for the expansion, I just feel like the company is doing a bad job of presenting it/launching it with hype behind it.

We really need some short cinematics or something to give the new characters some background. I think that would help a lot.
I’ve been playing wow, buying trading cards, annd read the majority of books throughout the years (up till recently) and what have you for almost two decades and I never heard of Faerin Lothar.

I’ve purposefully avoided PTR this time, and I’m hoping for the best. Delves are, to my mind, the key feature this time.
However, i’ve not like the prevailing design trends lately, especially this desire to eliminate gear drops and to replace that with any number of “currency counters”. I get why they do this, but it makes for unfun gameplay for me. If this continues, and, given the way this prepatch is working out, I’m afraid the expansion will double down on that. I hope I’m wrong.
