I worked. I’m currently working on a combination vacation/retirement plan. I drop dead, then i’m on vacation/retired.

I made a friend a homemade dutch apple pie which was really yummy, watched Crazy Delicious on Netflix and that’s it. Oh and some WoW lol.

Yard cleanup following ash beetle infestation on 6 fully grown ash trees. 6 trees 60+ feet tall had to be cut down. Branches in every damn square inch of the backyard and giant trunk pieces to move… in 90+ degree weather.
Not a good time but this is why I’m 43 and not obese.

all of my weekend plans went exactly the way i didn’t want them to go
but it all turned out fine and actually got something out of it

Hot, wet, sweaty. I mowed the lawn on Sunday and got rained on. Twice. Idiots in the apartments behind me set off lots of fireworks and scared my dog. Someone passed out on my neighbors lawn sans pants. Again. For the third time in a week. I call him “Tiny”.

My weekend was hot and noisy. I like fireworks but after six weeks of them blasting off non-stop, it is getting annoying. Other than that, I worked in the yard all weekend. Now my HVAC isn’t working and it s 90 F in my office.

Weekend? What is this… weekend?
I’ve been working from home and having everything delivered for a few years, so hardly noticed quarantine. I did walk out to a dentist a couple weeks ago, and I cut my own hair a couple weeks before that. Saw some fireworks on tv and wondering how many covid-19 near misses our president can get, but nothing exciting otherwise.
Oh yeah, did an appearance change on this guy here. And ordered a really fantastic steak dinner from cpk on Friday.

work a long week , then get to the weekend and they go by so fast, try and do everything chore wise on Saturday and play the game a good chunk of Sunday is my norm, do not play much work days.

I finished all other requirements for the “Chef” title except for the “dinner impossible” part which is bugged. So I submitted a ticket and got “we know, we’ll fix it sooner or later.”

They get under the bark and eat the cambium which is the nutritional providing layer of the tree. Like a bug that eats away at your circulatory system until your organs die from lack of blood oxygen.
They look fine for months and then the bark starts turning from brown to grey, then white. They’re pretty much dead when grey. No leaves grow because all the nutritional layer is gone. Then the wood dries out and becomes brittle. Enough so a good wind will rip it right in two and that’s a lot of weight coming down.

I’m 49 for 3 more months with a beer belly. I have “a guy” for that sort of stuff.
As for my weekend, I worked on that belly pretty hard. It’s all in the 12oz reps!
