How to you find playing the short races?

I want to main a Vulpera but after playing one on the PTR it feels weird having a character so short.

How do you feel about playing a character that you can’t even make out what they are :stuck_out_tongue:

I find it odd to play tall races - so pretty much all my toons are Gnomes (or play as Gnomes lol). It’s just a preference.

Ive tried several times but I cant stand playing short races.

I love Goblins, I miss playing mine. Dwarfs are okay but not as fun. Never had a gnome.

I don’t really notice a difference. My main is the only gnome i have right now, but it isn’t jarring or anything to play on alts.

Same. I actually like really tall races, can’t stand playing short ones.

It’s alright. It can be amusing to go between my Gnome to one of my Tauren, but it’s more funny than anything.

I have a tiny little female Gnome Warrior though and it’s great. A small, cute, violent ball of anger.

I find even with the taller races, when in a group of people fighting, it’s difficult to find yourself. Thankfully there is a self-target ring so I can see where I am. It’s no different with the short races. At least with hunters or casters, you can stand back and find yourself in the crowd.

I think it’s more the race than the height.

I do also like the idea of a pocket size tank.

short races suck. armor loses all detail and they look like toddlers.

gnomes should all be punted off cliffs at birth.

I was on my Nelf last night and found it funny how tall she is around a lot of races compared to my Belves and Velves but when on my gnome its a bit weird at first being small but shes my pint sized powerhouse and I love her. After a bit you dont really notice unless your next to other races.

Dwarves are my second favorite race so I’m fine with it.

the camera on the shorter races feels weird to me.

but that could just be because I’m used to playing draenei who are on the taller side.

I love goblins, dwarves, and regular gnomes visually though.

Playing tall races feels weird. Shortie4lyfe

I have personally always found that the taller races are more visually impressive however I find the shorter races are more tactically advantageous for many situations and encounters. You can see more of what is going on around you and if you really want to better see your character you can always zoom in more with the camera.

I like the spacial awareness you get with the shorter characters.

I get a kick out of smaller races. I’ve dusted off my Gnome warrior and have been having a blast. That little tiny ball of metal is just wonderful. She stomps the ground and it shatters!

(And holy moly I agree with Bucknah. His post came thru while I was typing this.)
