How to you bet MM hunter?

Just started playing arcane mage and im really struggling against hunter comps in solo shuffle. Aimshots doing 2 mill, instant purge on shields and alter time. Any tips?

Its likely my low bracket but every match there is at least 1 hunter sometimes 2. I feel like arcane is prob one of the most difficult specs i have ever played in solo shuffle, or maybe im still learning. It has no instant casts only one school really, one block and no other defensives at all. Is this just designed to not be a PVP spec? Should i just play frost?

Sometimes there’s a win condition by just lining and turtling the game out. Just dps the other target and line every time they start casting aimed shot.
