How to use the Leggo Properly?

Obtained the axe and without thinking, one would think to hit the on use with wings because wings makes everything better right? But is that really the case? Is the on use tied to the number stacks the mobs have and should you hold out to use it until they have high stacks? It was recently buffed to stack to 50 and this made me think. Would love some input because I can’t seem to find a guide on this specific topic.

No idea. But traditionally wings is coded to only provide it’s bonuses to spells in the paladin’s kit. So I wouldn’t expect the on-use to scale with wings. Maybe try it out in the target dummy.

Did some testing with weak auras and some other checking. I believe I misunderstood what they meant by stacks. Each enemy tagged with the debuff is a stack you receive for the on use ability. So tag 7 mobs, get 7 stacks, buffing the on use a bit more. However, this still begs the question will wings affect this or not. If not, use outside the wings window. Moving on to further testing.

Confirmed, I was doing about 15-20k more dps over a 1 minute dps sprint test on AoE test dummies using it OUTSIDE of the wings window.

No, use it after your 23 second AW window. But it’s situational, and it’s honestly not very good.

avenging wrath never buffs the raw damage of any external source such as trinkets like beacon to the beyond or fyraloth.

what avenging wrath does to these external sources of dmg is buff their crit chance by 20%.

but no, you wouldn’t want to press the legendary on-use during avenging wrath because then you can’t press your other buttons that would do more dmg such as judgment to trigger the tier set bonus.
