I have two sparks of shadowflame and would like to create a piece of gear. Is there any way to do that? I see in the prior season it required a bottle essence which required doing campaign quests. is taht still the case? Any tips on using the spark of shadowflame would be helpful.

Where it says Spark in the crafting menu, click it and choose Spark of Shardowflame.
Thank you! I more or less log on to PvP…I didnt even know we could craft gear last season…when you say crafting menu does that mean i need a profession to do so? or can anyone craft the gear without a profession and I just have to find a crafting menu somewhere…lol…
If your character doesn’t have a crafting profession that can make use of the Spark, you need to go to the Crafting Order system in Valdrakken. You find someone who can make what you want, you (preferably) supply the materials for it (including the Spark) and a commission and hopefully someone will make it.
It helps if you are in a guild and can get a guild mate to do it as its a lot easier.
I suggest you check out wowhead on the Crafting Order system to get a good understanding of how it works.

My advise is to find someone in chat who can craft your gear at rank 5 and send them a personal order.

You can also craft most gear to have a certain PvP item level now. (Last season, it was only two slots per armor type.)
