I’m an Orc Rogue main. I cannot equip Sharp Arrow or Rough Arrow. I bought a Light Bow level 104 which I can equip since I’m level 50. I also bought a Gnarlwood Crossbow of the Quickblade. I tried right clicking my arrows, but I cannot equip them. I need to be able to do ranged to defeat this enemy to continue the story.
Werent arrows along with all other ammo straight up removed in retail?
Open your character sheet and drag the arrows to the ammo slot on the weapon.
Twitch i tried that I have an extensive Youtube as well with stuff I enjoy in WoW
Did you put the bow in the ranged weapon slot? I cannot remember about that part, will check in a few hours when I get home.

edit: you posted in the classic section so I’m assuming you are in classic.
There is a small slot to the right of the ranged weapon slot on your character. Drag and drop your arrows onto this. In Classic when the number of arrows in this slot reaches 0 you will not be able to shoot again until you put more arrows in the ammo slot.
To actually shoot you need to grab the “Shoot Bow” spell out of your spell book and put it in your bars.
Each ranged weapon type is trained separately and is a separate spell on your spell book.
Hard to tell if you needed the extra info or not but if it helped, great.
Ok, I focused on Mining and on Alchemy out of ignorance as a skill. Can I select Bow/Ranged as a Profession?
I tried to press P to select that skillset “Shoot Bow,” but that spell isn’t available.
I bought a bow and a crossbow from the Orgrimmar Auction House, which I returned to per my youtube video at level 30 to buy my first flying mount so that I can level by travelling and finding new areas.
There is no additional slot next to my range weapon per that Twitch video link above, which also has my youtube and shows my experience with WoW so far.
I’m pretty stoked for the Emerald Dream areas on the Dragon Isles which you need to be like level 58 to go to and level 61 to get the Dragonflight mount with the special abilities possibly. I also want to do the Tyr quests because WoW showed that greek god statue and he has his own story which seems fun.
My bad, didn’t notice this was for Dragonflight.
What I described earlier was for World of Warcraft Classic Era. You are playing the most recent version of the game which I don’t have any experience with.
Someone can probably help you in the New Player help and Guides forum.

Oh yea it’s dragonflight
which if you get dragonflight it lasts forever btw and they have a
deluxe or whatever edition to skip to level 60 which seems worth it
to skip the first 20 hours of the game but overall fun experience either way plus the wow token in that one edition is 400k gold
Does anyone know?
Go to the Dragonflight forums.
I tried it, saw that Era was available with a subscription, and have not looked back. Most folk here stick to Classic Era, avoiding Retail like it is the Plague, so you will be hard pressed to find help here.
I’m almost positive as a rogue (or any melee only class) in retail they cannot use a ranged weapon, it just will not work. The only ranged weapon you can use is thrown. I did a quick search and found examples but I will (might) continue to look for patch notes on it.
edit: It looks like you can equip a ranged weapon but it is for looks only. The ability to “Shoot” has been removed from most melee classes. I say “most” because a Shaman and\or Druid might still be able to but I’m getting sick of looking into it. hahaha
That’s interesting what are some good thrown weapons?
I’ll try that out and if that doesn’t work at level 50 I can always take the shark zeppelin in Orgrimmar as an orc to Northrend near icecrown citadel and fight General Vezax and Yogg Saron in Storm Peaks maybe in Ulduar
