With the nature of this ability being damage focused to heal. I don’t know when it’s appropriate to use this cooldown over our other strong cds in a dungeon/raid environment.
As you say, it’s tricky, the cooldowns are awkward, the range is awkward, and you can easily waste a lot of its potential using it at the wrong moment with not enough to damage or poor positioning or missing the window for a big heal.
That’s why Venthyr and Necrolord with their forgiving fire and forget abilities are so much more attractive and don’t disrupt your gameplay at all.
The only time you’ll really be popping it to maximize its use would be popping it on Prideful or trash that does AoE damage like in De Other Side & Halls of Atonement.
Ive noticed that when you combine it with attonements, it’ll be able to keep your group up on the most difficult pulls in a dungeon. If any of the DPS die, its cause they were standing in mechanics that would probably have killed them regardless
