How to unlock Void Elf

Im new to wow bought the bfa expansion got the 110 character boost, used it on a night elf. So with that said , what is the very first thing i must do to unlock void elf and the steps that follow?

Pulled from Wowhead:

—To unlock the Void Elf Allied Race, you must first have the Battle for Azeroth expansion purchased.
—You Are Now Prepared! requires completion of the Argus storyline, which should take several hours to complete. Reference the Comprehensive Argus Guide if you need assistance with any quest.
—Exalted with Argussian Reach may take several weeks to obtain, as you can only earn a limited amount of reputation through World and Emissary quests.
—You must then complete a special recruitment quest which demonstrates why Void Elves have decided to join the Alliance.
—You have now earned the Allied Races: Void Elf achievement and can create a Void Elf.

The tl;dr is Be sure you have BfA, complete the Argus Storyline in Legion, Earn exalted with Argussian Reach, and complete the recruitment quest rom the emissary hall in Stormwind.

Good luck getting your void elves!

It’s pretty easy and goes pretty fast. Welcome to the game.

You start by unlocking the superior race first and that’s us.

110 boosts have Legion World quest and the Broken Shore already unlocked, so you can jump right into Argus.

In Dalaran, pick up the quest “The Hand of Fate” from Khadgar. Then just follow the quest chain until you get “You are Now Prepared” and grind out the rep doing the world quests on Argus. (Most Argus world quests give rep for both factions, even if only one is listed in the tooltip.)

You’ll probably also want to work on getting to 120, as some of the group quests on Argus aren’t really soloable by most at level, and finding groups is hard.

Eh, why not both while you’re at it? It’s practically a two for one. I think I was 3/4ths through Lightforged revered once I started on it and that was just from doing all the quests that gave both reps.

That’s you’re first mistake OP. You should have boosted a human male paladin for the extra reputation we can get.

We tank heal and DPS as well. We are the total package.

Just do all the quests in Legion. Unlock world quests and run them to exalted. You will then have the;

Aliance;
Lightforged Drenai
Void Elves
Horde;
Highmountain Tauren
Nightborne Elves

All will have specific unlocking quests at the respective recruiting halls in either Stormwind or Orgrimar.

They fixed this a long time ago. Just doing the elite world quests in each subzone earn you thousands of reputation every day. Probably take you 7 to 10 days to get the rep you need for exalted.

I will say, Void Elves are awesome and worth unlocking, even if their lore sucks.

They also have the best heritage armour so the grind is worth it :slight_smile:

Thanks everyone

I think we all know what “reputation” HuMPs have.

Thankfully VE’s were one of the easier races to unlock along with LF Draenei and the HM Tauren.

Since boosted and new…

Turn on see trivial quest to see old quests.

Right click minimap to see options.you may not see quest giver exclamation marks otherwise.

Talk to khadgar to see Argus quest. This one is freaky and sometime he does not show an exclaimation mark.

Edit. This would be khadgar by the flight master landing pad. The game can have npcs all over lol. Lhadgar can be in the mage builidimg or the landing pad area.

I’d also get some levels in bfa and gear.

It will make rolling Argus content easier and faster.

Final bit. When you see single target wq’s in Argus they give rep to both sides. The wq may say army of light. The single target army of lights also give Argus. So kill all single target boss wq’s with extreme prejudice lol.

Thanks for the info, and gotcha everything must die lol

The questline on argus with Alleria also gives rep.

Good luck

ehhh, yeah there is this. Hope you like the mission table. a lot…Her mission I recall is make the table champions a few set level cutoffs.

This you can speed up kind of. Broken shores give crystals to buy 880 (think its 880, or close) instant upgrade armor.

Drop the rare elites in broke shore daily. get the crystal currency. snatch up this armour off the vendor. She is right by belen and the other quest givers.

run table missions for the +5 and +10 armour upgrades.

get to 900 and repeat th same for argus table missions. they give armour rewards in the table.

Get to 120 and then go back and do it. After you hit 110, you don’t get XP from killing those Argus elites, which are hard to solo kill at your level. It will make life much easier. It’s fast to level to 120 in BFA.

Is it true that unlocking the Alliance Or Horde faction’s alliance races, the achievements have to be run on the associated faction? For instance, can I run all the Argus quests, earn achievements, and unlock void elves by doing it all on my Belf?

^^^ This, you can do it all on your Belf.

The final unlock questline has to be done on an Alliance character.
