So when I mouse over the Green Scales, it says “Source: Centaur Renown”. So is there a vendor someplace where I go to buy it with my renown?? How do I unlock this?
The scale colors are all 20+ renown sold at the quartermaster

Although one is bugged if you dont have the blue scales. And the other one renewed protodrake isnt even in the game.

I found Quartermaster Huseng but he doesn’t have any unlocks for dragon scales. 
At the quatermaster NPC that the main campaign questline had you talk to so that you would know where he is. Stay in school kids!
More seriously though, just google centaur renown vendor and have your answer instantly.
This took me a long time to figure out. I found the quartermaster, but couldn’t see the scales. Eventually I found it, but the renown you need is so high that it’s red and disabled, so it’s easy to miss. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. xD
Yeah I’m not big on grinding renown. I’ll get there organically but will def take a while.
Luckily I’m more interested in the black scales (aka poo brown) and that rep seems to go a bit quicker, hopefully will finish with next weeks reset quests.
