Since they won’t release realm names on top of the fact that there is no separate tab for Oceanic realms in classic: once the servers go live how on Earth do I know which one is the Oceanic realm? Am I supposed to just create a toon on one server at a time and check my latency before deleting it then trying the next server???
This is really dumb. I get that they don’t want to leak server names to avoid everyone deciding on “the one server” ahead of time, but for us Oceanic players, there is only going to be one server anyway. So why not just tell us the name of the Oceanic realm because it’s going to make no difference anyway? By the time I finally figure out which realm is Oceanic, half the names I want to use will be gone.

I feel your frustration! Worst part is the time it releases in Australia since i’ll be at work. -_-
i have this feeling they wont release Oceanic latency servers even tho they said they would do a pve one.
Wished Blizzard confirmed how many servers for each area so we know its official we will get oceanic!

I some what agree, if Oce is getting one server, why not just say the name, it’s one server that we all are going to play on…
All we know is that we will be getting an Oce server, I’m pretty sure they haven’t said if it’s going to be PvP or PvE or even both. Just Oceanic players will have a server or servers, which is still good news.
But if it is one server, it would be nice ahead of time to know where we will be going rather then playing server roulette or they could acknowledge it will be in a separate tab…
Perhaps on server select there is an oceanic tab with our server?.

Your worried about not knowing which server is OCE? To put this gently, this post is IMO a waste of breath and energy.

set your vpn to the uk and see which has the worst ping
I am assuming a west coast server would be the best choice pvp or pve. Way better ping than East Coast or Central.

You have to go to the Seasonal tab on Realm Select, via the Classic launcher.
OCE realms have a nice big [AU] in their name, such as [AU] Shadowstrike.
