So here is what I think vs what I have done in groups (not raid lead so I can’t tell everyone to change tactics)
What I think: Swap at 2 stacks. 3 If things get hairy. 4 stacks mean you are dead… When add comes in. Tank with stacks takes ONE add. (This is the key here.) Tank on boss takes other. Kill add quick that tank has before boss tank has 3) stacks. Then swap. Old add tank takes boss with fresh stacks. other tank now deals with add. Repeat as needed.
What I have seen:
- Some random tank goes to get both adds. Tank on boss gets yeeted off platform.
OR
- Tank with stacks get both adds. By the time second add dies, boss tank is at 3 or more stacks and gets yeeted before the add died/swap happened.
I just do not see a way that 1 tank can survive long enough for the group to burn both adds before stacks get too high. Am I wrong?
