How to start game without launcher?

I would like to start the game without having to go thru the launcher.
Can this still be done?
Seems awkward to bring up launcher, make the only selection available to me, as I only play the one game, so I can start the game, then kill or close the launcher as it’s no longer wanted or needed.

It would be nice to just go into the only game I’m wanting to play, sans the worthless launcher.
If someone knows how, appreciate the information. Thanks in advance.

Go into the place you have it saved.

For me with win10.

Program files x64.
World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft exe

Or go into classic and then double click it’s exe

Don’t forget to create a shortcut or pin the application to your start menu / task bar.

I use just the shortcut aswell but still launches bnet. on windows 7 I was able to delete it and the game would just go right up. idk about windows 10 though, haven’t needed to worry about it since launcher is always up when my laptop is on anyway

Using the launcher you don’t need to enter your password every time, which for me is nice.

I think you can make it so the launcher automatically closes when you launch the game too.

bnet seems really easy to launch with. what is this about?>

There is a close on launch option for the launcher in the settings so it’ll do it for you, nothing fancy needed.

You can set it to close on game load. It also remembers your selection so it brings you right to the correct screen on load.

Let me help you.
I’ll let you READ it 1st …
now you have the answer to your question.

To those that responded applicably, thank you for the suggestions.

What most of you don’t realize, is that blizzard panders its other games as advertisements. I for one, have no interest in that garbage.

some people don’t like the unnecessary bloat to the pc. But I get you. I personally just launch from the .exe and enter my easy password, I don’t like the launcher.
