so I have this problem with my DH which is 619 ilevel with skydan trinket 619 as well and I cannot seem to do a million dps.
I got the opener down pretty good but the rotation inbetween the cooldown i have no idea what im doing. I know were supposed to hold essence break for eye beam and sigil line up but other than that Im not sure what else I can do to improve my single target dps
Single rotation is pretty simple outside of openers, and you said you got those nailed down.
We go by a profile of 2m - 40s - 40s - 2min. That means that usually you get 2 normal EssB windows between Meta windows. How does this work out?
You hold Immolation Aura, Vengeful Retreat, Sigil of Flame, Eye Beam and Essence Break for these windows. You do IA → SoF → VR → EB → FR → EssB → DS → Annihilation → Annihilation.
That’s your 40s combo window. Between these you basically just do a basic rotation of Blade Dance > Chaos Strike and regenerating fury as needed.
There’s really not a lot more nuance to it. Your results might be based around Havoc being one of the worst (if not the worst) ST spec currently.
What is DS? is it blade dance but in meta form?

sigh well my raidbots sim tells me I should be doing around 1.15 million dps but i did about 920k on nexus princess so I think i need to do some practice
raidbots assumes perfect play with optimal conditions and is not a realistic interpretation of actual dps… just the potential.
And that you never have to stop dps.
Its pretty simple just complete garbage at the moment
