How to run WoW native on m1 mac?

How can I check to make sure that I am running the proper, native version of WoW on my m1 MacBook pro? When I downloaded the client, I wasn’t given a choice between intel vs. ARM. I’ve tried searching here and googling for this answer, but I couldn’t find anything. Any help would be appreciated!

Most Mac apps actually contain code for multiple architectures, when available, during transitions such as these. I would expect WoW to be the same. In other words, you don’t need a separate version of the app, you have both versions, and the OS knows which one to use.

Click on the Apple symbol on your Finder Bar and choose About This Mac.

In the Overview Tab, click on System Report button.

In the System Report window, select Software -> Applications in the sidebar.

In the Applications list that loads, look under the Kind column to see whether an app is Universal binary or a non-native Intel executable.

Universal is native to M1 Macs. Note that Universal is only a temporary stop gap until all Macs are ARM based. Eventually there will only be a ARM version of the app. This occurred during the transition from PPC to INTEL.
