So yeah, how to reset invested talents?
You can’t. If you made a bad decision, too bad.
i do not think it can be reset its like the titan thing from bfa
Sounds about right
Add this as another dumb decision made by blizztoad.
I think you’ll eventually be able to unlock everything, though, so there is that small comfort?
Measure twice, cut once.
Itt person makes meaningless error and blames others.
Can you even pick the wrong option? You can only get 180 this week and the options scale up hard after 1 point.
If you didn’t make a dumb decision then it wouldn’t be a problem now would it.
Is this “personal responsibility” dogma only found on the NA forums?
Same reason torghast was nerfed to begin with. Players could either realise they’re not that great at the game, or blame Blizzard for making it too difficult. Guess which one happened.
Old Torghast was overtuned. The nerf made sense. There’s no reason not to let us switch choices.
Sometimes you can only blame yourself for your poor decisions.
You could read what things do instead of clicking randomly
To be fair its easy to make a bad decision.
Layer 9 isn’t exactly difficult, nor are there many blessings or torments (and the ones that are there are not clearly marked as such.)
Its something that once again has very clear cut choices that require a guide instead of something that is able to be figured out easily by most people.
I suggest using this guide:
And talent trees also require guides. As I posted above, there are clear cut choices that can have huge margins of difference. This is why you see nearly ever spec with exactly the same talents, covenant, soulbind, conduits, etc. Many of those choices are not easy to figure out short of running sims.
Can you play sub optimally? Sure, but to blame poor decision on the user and not on poorly written tooltips or having to make a choice early on before seeing how blessings and torments can impact a run is silly.
Who says I get dressed.
I wear the same thing every day: my work uniform, or nothing at all.
I mean people could just play the game without obsessively min/maxing literally everything.
Same logic would apply to talents then as well. Tho we can freely change our talents.
Do we eventually get everything in our talent tree?
No?
Dang, different things then
When its competitive game play people make competitive choices.
If Blizz wanted the player base to relax then they would have to do things far differently.
-
Not include infinite scaling content.
-
Not include timers on everything
-
Break damage meters and the ability to log combat.
-
return to no more then two types of difficulty which nearly anyone can complete.
-
Move away from esports.
-
Move towards more world content were performance doesn’t matter.
Until then you can expect people to want to be the best that they can in order to succeed at content or hell even expect an invite in some cases.
Returning to the topic at hand, we have to score high to unlock the next layer. We have to score perfect to unlock a new difficulty with bonus loot. Of course people are going to want to min max when faced with that.
