My Warcraft froze up on my first attempted login for the new patch.
I’ve been able to re-login fine. But I’m told I missed out on watching a new intro video for Undermine. It’s not listed in the available cinematics on the menu.
How can I replay it, without going to a 3rd party video site?
Go to your WoW folder, rename the Cache folder to CacheOld and relaunch the game.
I’m thinking Blizz might have a bug here. In theory, you should also be able to edit your _retail_\WTF\Config.wtf and remove the line that says:
SET playIntroMovie “13”
or set it to 12. But it doesn’t seem to work, and gives you the 11.0 cinematic instead.
There is a quest later down the line where you can ask the NPC to “remind me of what happened,” or something like that. It will play the cinematic for you.
