😊 How to remain anonymous on the forums!

Here is a step to step guide on how to remain anonymous on the forums:

First left click your portrait at the top right hand corner.

  1. Click on your name.
  2. Go to “Preferences”
  3. Click on Interface.
  4. Select “Hide my public profile and presence features.”
  5. Press: “Save Changes.”
    Wallah you are now anonymous and no one can harass you, or look at your postings.

On the other hand if we can get everybody to to hide their information nobody available to use the Armory not sure if that’s good or bad

I haven’t hidden anything and I’m still perfectly anonymous. You have no idea who I really am or where I live or any of my information.

it’s not really anonymity since i can see your name and know it’s you if you ever posted something else again under that character lol.

Anymore anonymity then we won’t even have character names or players avatars. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for privacy but gets hand and becomes paranoia

Actually it’s Voila, and imo the informal version wa-lah is somewhat okay to use as it is more slang.

Well yeah! Can’t claim I’m a mythic raider who’s got all the best gearses and awesomeness stuff, meaning you should listen to everything I say about games and mechanics and have you calling me out

Hiding your profile on the forums wont hide peoples armories thankfully. You can just go to the WoW homepage and click the search in the top right and just type in their name.

They can hide their armor but I can’t hide my disappointment this implies that the forms in general are untrustworthy or they don’t trust themselves or others

Just a heads up, if you suspect anyone to be someone, you can always view their achievements and do a comparison via armory to see if they’re the same person. GG to not being 100% anonymous.
But nonetheless I am happy there isn’t 100% anonymity. There should be a way of knowing who’s harassing you ya’know?
I think you can ignore people as well, that would block all of their posts-but don’t quote me on that.
