may I ask for settings or information to reduce it
Lower settings like texture resolution and don’t use addons. Ultimately, it’s up to the engine though because it decides how much memory to allocate, even if it doesn’t actually fill it all the way up.
Think of it like getting a very large sized mug: You might decide you only want to fill it with a few gulps worth or you might want to drink the whole thing. Since you’ve got a large enough mug, you can handle either scenario without having to change mugs. This is kind of what happens in a lot of game engines when they allocate memory for things like texture pools.
i use “Intelligent Standby List Cleaner” for the memory on my pc. find some tutorial on yt.
The bulk of the memory that WoW would be using wouldn’t be in standby mode though and it would just fill back up to its pool size limits anyways.
