I just hit 120 on my affliction warlock and I’m trying to gear up. I’ve entered my character into raidbots and I’m wondering how do I read the printout of stats? Are they a ratio or percentage relative to each other?
Here are the stats that popped out:
Mastery 2.02
Haste 1.91
Critical strike 1.87
Versatility 1.83
Intellect 1.56
so we typically dont use stat weights much anymore as they can be mildly disingenuous, i would recommend using raidbots topgear as your option when it comes to sims.
however you would read the printout as follows
“mastery provides 2.02 points of dps per point allocated.”
haste provides 1.91 points of dps per point allocated.
issue with stat weights: they dont take into account what stats you’re losing to add in that haste or mastery. hence why topgear is usually better. stat weights is okay to figure out what food you would use
stat weights can help when you have the addon pawn to find upgrades in gear. But when you do you have to sim every time to see if its an actual dps upgrade
