How to quickly catch up horde side so I can get the vulpera

haven’t played for about a year and I played alliance side solely. I want to come back and play the Vulpera race. its sooooo cool :). but my highest level horde character is around 64.

so…how can I get this unlock quickly? whats the fastest path?

Buy an inscription contract for the Vulpera, do every WQ you can, do every quest that gives rep for them. I’d still say you’re in for a fairly long slog though. Maybe a couple weeks?

I’d say about a month AFTER he gets his level 64 Horde toon to level 120. There is simply no quick way of doing it, by design.

@Nallie. He is level 64. He has to get to 110 (to start BfA stuff) first. Then reach 120 before he can do WQ’s.

There are Bind on Account EXP potions you can buy from an Alliance vendor to pass to your Horde alts.

They’re located opposite of the Warfront table.

Ah, missed the part about him only being level 64.

In that case, a month or more. It really depends on how fast you level, OP, but at the end you’re still going to get gated by the rep grind because you can’t just endlessly get rep for them by killing mobs or whatever.

Make a horde demon hunter. They start at 100, so they’ll be the fastest (non-boosted) way to hit 120. After that, get a Vol’dun contract and do as many world quests as you are able. It’ll still take a while, but you’ll get there.

If he has a character on the realm at L70+, he can start a horde demon hunter at 98 (I think that’s still the requirement).

He does not. But he could get his lvl 64 horde character to 70+, then switch to DH to skip 30 levels I think.

To unlock WQ’s you must complete the following:

  1. Be level 120
  2. be friendly or higher with the three main zone factions.
  3. Have unlocked all three “beachheads” on the other faction’s zones (war campaign stuff).

Not that I want to be “that cow,” but if time is the issue and money is not, he could buy a boost for his Horde character, or buy Shadowlands expansion and get a 120 boost with that.

Jinx!

/moo :cow:

Yes, the boost is the fastest way!

Pay for faction change on your 120 that has the most grinded reps

Then go unlock it

Yes, you’ll get the 120 boost which will make it much quicker to get into the world quests.

If you get the Heroic Edition? Yes that would work. You’re still looking at about a month of rep grinding though, like any other AR.

Make a Demon Hunter on the opposite side.

That is what i did to unlock Dark Iron Dwarves as quickly as possible. It was during all those rep and xp buffs as well .

Although it requires a level 70 requirement on a server and you can only have one.

So if that Horde alt is on another server, go lvl just a tiny bit. If you don’t have one already, you know what to do.

Get a contract and do as many world quests as you can. Doing their campaign alone can get you decent reputation along the way iirc.

Start by getting the azeroth auto pilot add on. It will speed up your leveling a lot. Only other advice before 120 is to do the whole voldun quest chain. Get a contract and do wq’s. Good luck.

thats a good idea too. I have several alliance 120’s  thanks.
