How do I beat other melee classes? It seems every other melee class has a stun which I do not have. Also why is our burst movement moves gimped when we have orbs and or flag, but DHs still get theirs?
My advise is find yourself a pocket healer. If you’re running bgs grab serenity. If you’re doing 3s run WDP.
WW is extremely lack luster running solo in PvP because blizzard, and we could easily be one man armies if blizzard gave us the strength we had at the start of Legion.
Sounds like you are doing Battlegrounds?
You’ll definitely want to be around a healer but I would suggest getting some solid defensive azerite traits. I have 2x impassive visage & 2x azerite veins. They’re super noticeable when it comes to being healable (aka not a mana sink) and general survivability.
I don’t know the validity of it but I was told that because of the way DH movement skills work the game doesn’t penalize them. I think Flying Serpent Kick not working with the flag is actually a bug but nothing seems to be done about it. The only aura I don’t understand the effect of, or why it’s happening, is Flying Serpent Kick effect #6. Since the change to movement abilities in battlegrounds I’ve reported this as a bug though.

I’m still pretty new to it, but I’m confident in any 1v1 situation that I’ll win which is fun. Between rolls, Tiger’s Lust, teleport, Flying Serpent Kick, Paralyze, Disable, Touch of Death, Touch of Karma, Serenity, Leg Sweep, etc. if you unload on someone you can probably take them out
The problem I’ve run into is that it feels like I have to pop so many cooldowns just to stay on par. It also feels like I have to put a lot of effort in to get the kill, remember this pile of cooldowns, and hope that I don’t take too much damage because self-healing is pretty bad, where when I play other classes it doesn’t feel like that’s the case
My DH hit 120 two nights ago and it’s already noticeably stronger in PvP. I prefer my Monk because it’s a ton of fun and I like the utility, but I think you really do have to try pretty hard to get results and be really on top of your rotation, cooldowns, positioning, and control
FSK works with the WSG and Twin Peaks flag, but doesn’t work with Temple orbs or the Deepwind Gorge cart.
In CTF games the more stacks you have the more your movement abilities are reduced. You can still blink, roll or DH dash but you can’t sprint and FSK speed is also affected).
DH trample is also slowed but it still keeps the CC immunity.
There is no noticeable movement impairment if it is a relatively quick cap/hold, which is all I’ve done.
Of course, once out of tricks should pass to a better tank.
easy, run in, deal damage, burst, if you get aggro by this point you should still have KARMA, save KARMA, instead, fly back / teleport back to safety, get healed up, go back and fight… this is my bg experience, i constanntly get 15-20 kills without any death… a good healer is also important, which there’s none
Turbo Fist, basically use this as an evasion for other melee, play defensive when you dont have it. GG
