How to pug MC without a guild . A guide

Step 1 make a pug 2 to 4 hours before your intended raid time. Advertise it in lfg with your start time in the advertisement

Also advertise that you are doing full pug rules with no reservation of any loot

Step 2 look for other pugs advertising with your same start time and fair pugloot rules then message that leader and tell him your seeking a deal to combine raids. with him as the new leader . and you can send over anyone you find to him in exchange for him guaranteeing you a spot in his pug. He will likely say yes to that deal and then you keep searching for new raiders and add them to his pug and then you’ll quickly form a 40 Man pug.

Then at start time five people probably don’t show up and you quickly advertise to fill those five spots

Boom there’s your simple way to ensure you get to do MC even without a guild. And as far As loot goes as long as the leader stays true to the rules and doesnt ninjaloot. then everyone will get to have the same random rolling chance of getting loot and eventually you’ll get gear slowly

You could even make a rule that says everyone must make sure it is on group loop before starting a boss . and if the leader changes it to masterloot before pulling then everyone agrees to suicide and refuse to do the boss if on masterloot. This wil ensure every piece of loot is need rolled and can’t be abused by Master looter

Is it just impossible now to use the in-game roll system in PUG raids and have people behave or something?

That used to work just fine. You make note of the people who were good to raid with and invite them/give them priority next time. Can build a decent raid group with that over time. Am I the only one who has done this or something? lol

In my post I said I support the idea of using the in-game roll system in raids. I plan to do that in my MC pugs

There’s always that one guy that ninjas stuff or “accidentally” needs something they didn’t need.

since nobody has complained about it, I’m guessing MC is still easy mode with no SoM changes :expressionless: in which case, for cryin out loud, you can probably get some bosses down with just 20-25 people.

yeah I’d rather trust 1 master looter than trust 39 people not to need something they shouldn’t :expressionless:

Or you can just ask to join a PUG and get accepted like I do. It’s pretty easy.
