How to play survival hunter

Hi, I decided to level my hunter alt recently (level 112).

I played my hunter a lot in legion and am familar with the marksmanship and beast-mastery specs.

I am currently playing the survival hunter spec and it is a lot of fun. However I am unfamliar with the spec.

What should I be focusing on as I level up to ensure that I am playing the spec correctly and can be competitive?

My talents are
Alpha predator
Guerrilla tactics
Natural mending
Bloodseeker
Posthaste
Mongoose bite
Wildfire infusion

HASTE, stack as much as you can, otherwise feels slow. However, Icyviens and Wowhead have good guides to read.

i usually just cry in a corner and try to remember the MoP survival days

Tip of the Spear is better than MB if your Haste is low, but this.

Cant someone play what they enjoy? If you do not like melee SV does not mean others can not find enjoyment.

Bad advice here pay it no heed. While BM is indeed fun and easier to play, if you follow the Icy guide and such; you will do fine and it’s kind of a nice challenge…
