What about Holy Paladins? I didnt think Rogues could take us down?
I try this but this gets you instantly focused.
Dont go to WSG as a PUG rogue. Its rough. I feel like everytime i come out of stealth there is a warrior on discord somewhere that just says: āRogues, outā and 3 warrior instantly turn -> Int -> Overpower me into the dirt.
AB is where we shine. Small fights, and harrass by stealth capping points.
AV is just AV, do what you can its a giant clusterfrick for the most part. Still not bad.
For AB I still advocate for the Solo GM rogue and have the rest of the team commit to ST BS LM, they either have to keep more than two people on the flag or iām gonna keep taking it and the rest of the team should have the numbers in their favor. in pugs however as with all pugs, organization goes to crap and I end up just taking the flag least defended on the opposing side.
i can at the very least force you to bubbleā¦and if nothing else keep you stunlocked for a very long time so the rest of your team does not get healed. If you have already used bubble i will 100% kill you.
Damn I was under the impression that Holy Paladins were immortal vs melee 1v1. Didnt realize rogues tore through them as well, I thought that was only for Priests.
Nothing tears through a well played holy pala.
Excluding warriors, well because theyāre THE gods of wow pvp once geared up a bit.
And with the Leeway buff and how abusable it is, forget about it.

But in group pvp you can trinket the stun and have a blessing of sac on someone else to break the blind (or be dwarf). And can you really kill a plate geared Holy Paladin in a stunlock anyway?
just dueled a same level rogue on my ret paladin 5 times (lvl 70) and he won every time. Idk what im doing wrong, i guess rogues just dominate in 1v1s or im ****.
Level 70? Iām assuming you mean retail, then. Sorry, I dont play retail so I canāt help you there. I donāt think Ret is very good against Rogues in Classic either. I play Holy as a healer and Rogues have a tougher time killing Holy Paladins compared to other healers.
WSG: defend flag room. Make flag carrier use as many cds as possible to escape you so if they do escape they will get mopped up by team faster. If they get flag to their base you stalk the FC and set up play to lock him down and kill him.
AB: Defend bases, just need to sap/blind/whatever long enough to delay cap so team can assist you. Also good at stealing bases. Sap/rockethelm/blind steal.
AV: spaghetti
In AV when you want to fight in a clash, go to their back and just disrupt. Donāt try to kill anyone, just cheap shot, gouge, blind and kick all the casters you can before you got killed.
Buying 4-5 sec from the more players you can is the best you can do to help to win a group fight.
Because you are so damn dangerous when left alone. I would rather leave a bloodthirsty warrior alone than a rogue. CC is more dangerous than just killing things when you canāt kill outright.
yes i can kill a plate geared pali very easily in stunlockā¦if you trinket cheapshot i will just gouge youā¦or hit a few melee swings and a thistle tea for a full kidney.
Sit in the base and defend, if the flag gets out, be an opportunist waiting ahead of EFC in stealth. Or sapping healer and going for the solo on e roof etc. In a real game ur job would be to have ur team push the EFC off E roof, and you wait for him below and separate him from healer/open on him.
Great rogue play is all about abusing stealth, at a high level it can be very oppressive because no1 can find u so you have to assume youāre everywhere. No other class can just hide and create pressure like that because of the way targeting works.
Druids have stealth but who cares if theyāre skulking around

these rogues assume these paladins know what their BiS is. IME thatās not true
equal gear it should take more than one to kill u without a lot of time, the real risk is he delays you long enough to have his teammates collapse on u if ur FC
