DH simply just need a new intro similar to AR and Panda Dks. Then import DH animations to all races along with meta forms.
Evoker also need a new intro for non dracs. As for spell animations that need drac anatomy, all you have to do is look at DHs
So you know how some DH spells have the player turn into meta, like eye beam and chaos nova?
Well simply apply that same logic to evokers. So any Evoker spell that uses wings, tails, etc, would have the character assume a quick and temporary ethereal drac form that allows the use of the spell.
So like take deep breath for example, a human Evoker would quickly turn into magical drac like being and do the spell. Then revert back to human once done.

Well he’s kinda indisposed right now and no longer leads the illidari.
As to why train non elves?
Well resurgence in demon activity. Prob in TLT or whenever sire denathrius takes over the legion

Plus I’m sure elves only isn’t a prerequisite to being a DH. And in the event of a new demonic threat any willing race that wants to gouge out their eyeballs for the cause would be accepted. Because why not??
Illidan only chose elves because of what it takes to survive the process and the obsession of killing demons. DH isn’t really a class somebody just picks up and titles themselves as. The process to be chosen for training came down to being an elf and having a certain level of fanaticism. Demons Hunters aren’t exactly right in the head because of the process it takes to become one.

I can see dh, you’d just need a lore reason for additional races to sacrifice everything for the power of demons. Not exactly hard but i personally would want it to be epic enough to suffer damnation for.
Evokes - just no. The abilties they use are literally due to their race and design and its tie into the dragon schools. We’d be better of with more visage forms allowing you to be any race rather then ignore why they are doing what they are doing.
The closest the other races should get to what evokes are doing from a lore perspective are via mages. That said it might be cool to see a new mage school (spec) form based on their interaction with and learning from both the aspects and the dracthyr

It is for what it it takes pre and post DH ritual.
Have a council of dracthyr empower worthy mortals with the power of the five flights. Then use the ethereal form for spells that need it.
Seems fair if mortals are going to teach dracs mortal classes.

Elven minds aren’t the same as the mortal races. Becoming a DH is forsaking cleaner less stigmatized sources of energy (arcane, sun, moon…) for a craving for fel and demon meat that never ends. Other races don’t use energy likes elves do in wow.
Elves aren’t a hive mind and neither are the other races…

It isn’t hive mind. Other races don’t need a magical water well to sustain their craving for energy. Becoming a DH is replacing a socially acceptable addiction for one that brings more power to dominate the demons they are so fanatic about. We are comparing near immortal beings to mostly mortal races.
Nelves don’t have an addiction to anything and belves were cured at the end of sunwell…
You need a burning legion threat for that to happen. Unfortunately we took care of that in legion expansion.
Sargeras is powerless so he’s done for.

I would rather keep blood elf and night elf for demon hunter as it’s already created by lore. Upon making your demon hunter you are in a time bubble, you’re a demon hunter from the burning crusade expansion time prior to the “heroes” assaulting Black Temple as explained in the in game cut scene.
You can’t just put a Vulpera in there cause… Vulpera didn’t exist then

The legion is in shambles, but not defeated.
Keep in mind the nathrezim were pulling the strings and Sire D is still alive and will probably take over the legion.
And sargeras is definitely coming back in TLT along with illidan.
So perfect ingredients for more DHs given the story they cook up
