How to open a customer service ticket for a character that can't access in game services?

Good day! I have a character that is bugged somehow to where he can’t access in game services that should be available. I’m unsure exactly now what might be causing the issue. I was fairly certain that the bug occurred after following the Shadowlands campaign introduction quests up through completing the Through the Shattered Sky quest (entering the Maw). But I’m completely unsure now, as other characters who have completed these steps have full access to the in game services as they should be.

I’ve followed the steps in filling out a bug report here on the forums for the issue, but I’m unsure how to actually open a customer service ticket to get help with the problem. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

What extactly do you think is the issue? Are you looking for the threads of fate?

NPCs that offer in game services are missing just for this one character. I had thought that there was a phasing bug occurring that caused this, but I’m completely unsure now. Specifically, the NPC that is the Experience Disabler is missing for this character from Stormwind Keep. I’ve followed the exact steps through multiple expansion introductions that are known to have phasing bugs occur here with a new character and have followed the same steps with multiple characters. The NPCs that offer these services are just missing for the one character. Similar a character not having access to banks, auctioneers, or any in game service, I’m stuck here with the one character not having access to this NPC. Again, any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I figured out how to open the ticket for customer support. I ended up having to open the ticket as “Not Listed Here.” As many issues might fall under this category, the FAQ here might be updated to include this.

What level is the character in question?

That’s kind of will be the longest wait out of them all. It doesn’t mean you’d be get the help you want.

But from what ya saying, it’s a bit hard to follow as NPCs don’t tend to disappear. What quests do you have in your quest log?

He’s a 30th level paladin. Some phasing bugs are known to make NPCs and objects from Stormwind Keep disappear. I followed the prompts and filed a bug report here, but I don’t believe that there’s anything that I can do to resolve the issue. I’ve tried disabling all addons and /reload. Tried completely relogging. Tried disabling and using Chromie Time. The problem persists just for this one character. Other characters, including a new character that I just tested, followed the exact steps through multiple expansion campaign introductions, but the missing NPCs are available for all of the others.

If it’s quest phasing issues (which sounds likely), the most you’ll get from your ticket is a pointer to which questline you’ll need to progress to make him re-appear.

Customer support tickets do not facilitate bug reports, or lead to the resolution of said bugs.

Currently, the character has zero quests in his log. There are multiple expansion introductions known to cause phasing bugs here, but I’m completely uncertain now what triggered it. I was almost certain that completing the Shadowlands campaign introduction up through the Through the Shattered Sky quest (Entering the Maw) might have triggered it, but I’ve followed the exact steps up to this point in the campaign with other characters and the NPCs are available for them.

That won’t do anything, you’d need to do a full ui reset. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/7549

I understand that the ticket isn’t likely to facilitate the bug report or lead to a complete resolution of said bugs, but I’m uncertain how to access the services that are normally available here. I’ve tried everything that I can think of on my end.

Edit: Thank you for the link. I followed the instructions there and did a full ui reset. The problem persists just for this one character.

One thing that I did notice is that this character had done the King’s Command quest when that popped up, but didn’t follow through the Mists of Pandera campaign introduction any further than that one quest. I didn’t see any comments where this one is known to cause phasing bugs, but that first quest did involve the room that the Experience Disabler NPC should be in. If this is something that customer support isn’t capable of assisting me with, I’ll attempt to pick up the introduction again and follow it through a bit further. That would end up overleveling this character for several of the older expansions, though. I’m thinking now that having this character completing this quest might be what is causing the phasing bug to occur.
