This is the last schematic I need to complete the achievement. I looked at Wowhead, and someone in the comments stated that it is unobtainable…is this true? I don’t know how else to obtain the schematic. I have bought 30 sprocket containers, and this is the only schematic that has not dropped.
I don’t think so. The comment is pretty outdated (Patch 9.2.7) and is based on the idea that the only way to get the schematic is the Legion Engineering shoulder enchant. But you can buy Sprocket Containers from the Legion Dalaran Engineering vendor Hobart Grapplehammer (50 Leystone Ore, 10 Felslate ore) and those containers are the same as what you would have gotten from the shoulder enchants.
(Apparently this was added in 10.1.7.)
So you can basically buy the exact same RNG opportunity you used to get from the (no longer viable) shoulder enchant.
