I am trying to get the last piece of tmog on the Aberrus Priest set and cannot figure out where it obtain it. Last patch I grinded on my Priest to try using the catalyst to obtain this, however I wasn’t lucky and couldn’t get a single waist piece to bring tot he catalyst. Is there a location we can get this item or is it permanently off of the loot table?
I don’t really collect xmog aside from whatever is current (unless something really catches my eye), but I think there is some world event that rewards 450 ilvl gear which can be catalyzed to the old tier set. You’d want to google the event, I want to say it’s something in the Ohnaran plains?
It will be the mythic appearance at that ilvl though. Not sure how you could get the old ones aside from running the raid at this point.
Use the catalyst.
I’m not 100% positive, but I think you could use a Dreamsurge Cocoon earned from the weekly Dreamsurge event, then level it up and then use the Catalyst.
you cant use it anymore for that patch. using the catalyst will only generate the new raid appearances not aberrus.

EDIT: Just tried it one the world events, they only provide the raid finder appearances int he creation catalyst.
So the answer is that if you want normal mode appearances of the belt you are SoL. creation catalyst will not give it using the dream surges or the time rifts.

Is dream surge gear upgradeable? If so you can still get them.
I just tested it and yes, using a DreamSurge Cocoon to purchase the waist can be used at the Catalyst to yield a Sash of the Furnace Seraph (raid finder). And then upgrade it using Flightstones to get other appearances.
It’s an item off last boss in the raid I believe.
I have attempted doing it this way now 3 times and none of them worked. still raid finder even if you upgrade the item to 450 item level.
