How do we mute the roar from the dragonriding mounts? It’s disproportionately loud but if I turn down my sound effects/dialog so it’s not so loud then I basically play the game muted. Anyone found something for this yet?

I noticed the dragon roars when there’s a glyph nearby, grab it and I think you’ll be good to go. Otherwise, I’m not sure.

I had gotten all the glyphs before I finished Shore questing. I was sitting in the Plains and had to do something on my other monitor and my dragon just started yelling non stop.
Might be a bit of a glitch.

I’d like to know how to mute dragons as well. It’s way louder than anything else in the game.
I’d prefer to not have to download a WA. Maybe a console command can do it?

I noticed if my dragons roaring a lot I just move a little and it stops

I would really like a way to mute my draggo when it gets unruly. How about a food that makes it quiet and happy for an hour. 
Yeah we need this…I hate having to listen to my dragon roaring every two secs…it gets bloody old fast…and I have all glyphs too already…fix it please.

My dragon was roaring at me when I was logging out.
Maybe it’s showing some love or it’s hungry.
To stop the roaring feed your dragon, that would be a cool mechanic.
Anyways, pixels have a mind of it’s own, Tales of The Crypt style.
If your dragon gets hungry enough, it eats you!
I kicked my dragon in the ear with my hoof. He got real quiet.

I read quest text and I also don’t typically dismount when talking to a quest giver.
I noticed when sitting there trying to read quest text or dialogue options, my dragon will just spam roar over and over. It’s noticeable and annoying. It’s a bit much.

Bump. I agree with OP. I like the dragon sounds sometimes and think they are well done, but they can be overwhelming too, especially when trying to read quests. This is especially true with multiple dragon mounts nearby.

So the mountspecials in particular are EXTREMELY loud for me, and people being people, folks love to spam them at community events such as souptime.
Anyway, good news, a very awesome guy made a weakaura to mute dragon sounds. Unfortunately I can’t directly link it, so please search wago for “Mute Dragon mount screech + landing sounds”.

I love the roar and the /mountspecial on the blue dragon should be the animation for all dragon mounts.
