How to mute a thread?

Tired of most of the political threads, how do I mute them? Somebody said they muted whole threads before. Is that possible?

There is a little bell/eye/animal-footprint icon at the bottom of the thread.

Since it seems like you might be new (just guess because of the question and post amount), you can also ignore individuals

  1. click their name
  2. click “view Activity”
  3. At the top right, you’ll see two buttons “Normal” and “view profile”
  4. Switch to ignore and set timeframe.

It’s a good tool to protect your stress levels.

Yeah I hate seeing these posts and people with… “opinions” on things.

I put one person on ignore, but I still kept seeing them on the forums. It just said “show hidden post”. Seeing “show hidden post” bothered me more than their actual posts.
