So the title is a little strange, i want to play a game and get really good at at. I know that recording and watching my gameplay is important to learn what i did right and what i did wrong. So i start recording my gameplay telling myself that after playing a few games ill rewatch my matches. I never rewatch my gameplay after recording it. Why? I don’t know, but i will not improve as much if skip watching my gameplay. Idk if it is my ego or if i am lazy. I guess I have a mindset where i want to become really good at a game but i don’t want to do the stuff that may not seem fun. I am at a stale mate right now. This thing happens every time a new game comes out, i buy the game with the intent to play it a lot, watch my gameplay and improve at the game drastically. One last thing, whenever i am doing really bad in a match or game i quit the match. I know failure is the part of learning but i still quit. Do yall have any advice or tips you can share? What strategies do you use to get better at a video game of your choice?
I wish I had the right answer for you, as it would help me in my own life if I did. I don’t record my game plays specifically but do struggle at times with wanting/needing to do certain things but just not having the follow through to do them.
