Well, the majority of those who actually left didn’t leave venting posts. I think the number and frequency of venting posts can be a sign that things are about to go very wrong, but people who are ready to leave just log out, cancel their subs, and leave the game. They don’t come here and write a novel about it because: When you come here to write a novel about it, it’s generally because you’re still hoping it will change or you just want to vent frustration.

In answer to your question, I think there are just places that get somehow anchored to things like this with bugs.
It’s like that hillside in Stonetalon that seems to be the default dumping ground for any bugs with any flights in Kalimdor. You get dumped there in that same spot no matter where the actual glitch took place.
Apparently, the glitch landing for TWW is a spot off the coast of Zandalar.
Never been teleported to Westfall/Northern Barrens when the game completely borks, forgets your position, and has to put you somewhere, eh?
Blizzard sees you paid for the next month anyway and does not realize anything happened.

sounds like that gamer has bigger problems than a video game. I remember during the anniversary event trying to take the portal back to storm wind actually dropped me 300 yards out in the ocean and I was joined by 30 other people in a matter of moments. maybe you just need a sense of humor or solve whatever actual problem is going on in your life.

I’ve done the Nightfall event two dozen times or more, done the 3 x dailies maybe 200 times now between both zones and never once had this happen. How much testing do you want to be done before they are happy that they have found every bug in the game?
It’s not possible to get enough testers in a room together and give them enough time to be able to find every single iteration of every single bug in the entire game, it’s just impossible.
Honestly if this happened to me, I’d think it was wicked cool and try to record it / find a way to replicate the bug. Sounds pretty awesome.
