I started a character in Exile’s Reach, and after lvl 10, moved onto Stormwind, and now been sent toA new citiy, area etc. I’ve been able to kill and skin certain creatures, however my skinning lvl has increased past lvl/rank 1. Do you have to visit older areas to skill up tradskills now?
Also, Can’t find any pet battles that aren’t lvl 25. I was wanting to level my pets, while my character lvls up but seems impossible if u take the exile reach route.
They broke up all the professions (except Archaeology) into separate skills based on expansion. The base Skinning profession can only be leveled up in the vanilla zones in Kalimdor & Eastern Kingdoms. You’ll need to go to the skinning trainer in your new area to learn the version of skinning for that area. If you’re in Boralus ask a guard for directions to the skinning trainer & they’ll teach you Kul Tiran Skinning. All the skinning skills can be leveled up independently so you don’t need to go back & level up Skinning first.
If you open the Skinning window (press K and click on Skinning Skills) you’ll see a list of which skills you have learned & which ones you still need to acquire.
