As raid leader, your responsibility is to make sure it’s a smooth, efficient run, where everyone that you invited has a good time.
Set the following expectations:
- Don’t pull until I get there
- If you die, don’t release
- Clear trash
Then you run in the back of the pack and res anyone that dies.

Everyone just blasts now.
Have you run into any issues on raids?

My experience…Pull all trash to boss, kill boss in 30 seconds…rinse and repeat

Make “No Carry” groups, and only invite people under 600ilvl =P

there is no raid issue outside of LFR and any mechanic you cant blast through. OP is just having their little white knight high horse moment. they are the type that thinks its raid leaders responsibility to make 20+ people wait for the one person who joined a group labeled “fast” and then dies on every encounter double the raid length at a minimum for everyone else
My only issue is im literally the only one summoning in every single raid i have done.
Other than that got trolled by a paladin yesterday that ran to engage dragons while everyone else went to ursoc. When the raid jumped off the cliff no one could release. He stayed in combat for 15 minutes even after we kicked him. Eventually he got bored and died so we then could release.
Bum pallys sometimes I tell ya
I run the Mythic and Heroic raids every day. It’s very rare that someone has an issue with these rules. I’ve had to boot maybe 3 times.
It helps that I put “will carry” in the title, and half of the people running with us are guild mates that I recruited from previous runs. Setting expectations early on is the key.
weren’t the low geared players telling us how. They should make their own groups and how they invite a few 740 and let them do the work ?
Why should the rest of the 19 players in mythic or 29 players in other modes need to wait for 1 person who is expecting epocs in mail.
Actually I kick them out.
This is an event that should bring us together…

the only annoying part is ursoc trash because low geared getting killed easily there. otherwise press w and gg. waiting for all is a waste of time
Pop a coolie hit a sprint and don’t press anything else on the way to ursoc for a good time

You can absolutely form speedrun raids with totally different expectations. If you join a raid titled “fast” or “speedrun”, you should not expect people to wait for you.
My raids are titled “will carry” and I click invite on everyone. I feel that I have a responsibility to those folks.
Perhaps a better post about “how to lead a remix raid” would be: set expectations and work to ensure they’re met.
Please stop it.
You have 90 days. No one needs to write anything other daily world tour.
It’s a daily grind. If you have a minimum 550. I bring you in. I expect you to be with the raid. We are going to summon you. We’re going to rescue but if you still fall back and you’re holding up 29 players then you’re out.
No one is going to be carrying you for the next 90 days m. Be realistic, please.

There are other 29 players in the group that a raid leader needs to respect about, not worry about one slacker
I haven’t had a single scroll of summoning drop for me all of remix. There’s no vendor I’ve found that sells it. So I legit can’t drop a summon portal and have to wait for someone else to drop one.
That’s crazy they drop like candy for me lol
Ya know I got a wee Tauren Pally (Ret) on Lemix and I was curious about trying to run raids…and now I am like HRMMM should I?
I try to learn at least but I worry bout getting kicked from raids >.>
So, the way I’ve lead raids in Legion Remix, form the group, summon players as quick as humanly possible before other players get anxious and start pulling. Then it’s off to the races and clears the raid super quick.
Also, no one types anyways so there isn’t any form of communication to worry about.
Rinse and Repeat until All raids are done.
It’s funny that OP is advocating for the slackers but not appreciating the 99% who are standing ready in front of the boss.
Somehow we need to care for the one player who can’t even make it to the raid to get carried.
Strange world.
People that die in the Ursoc trash are not slackers. Even if you just run with the pack and dont attack things, the root boss can get you and the ursoc trash can get you. Even at 50 vers the Mythic trash before Ursoc can be deadly.
Until the hot fix this was a majr issue as the main reason to run raids is for the stackable memento things that did NOT get mailed to you.
Now that they do, its a non issue. If you die before Ursoc the right move is to not release until Ursoc is dead. Then you will be right back with the raid with your loot in the mail.
